Renault has announced price reductions across its range in the domestic market, with prices dropping by up to Rs. 96,000.
This applies to all models currently on sale, including their entry-level Kwid, the Kiger compact SUV, and the Triber compact MPV
These price adjustments follow the central government’s announcement of GST 2.0. The hybrid vehicle segment is a significant beneficiary, with compact models (engines below 1,500 cc and length not exceeding four metres) running on petrol, diesel, LPG, CNG, and hybrid powertrains now attracting a lower GST rate of 18 per cent, down from 28 per cent.
As Venkatram Mamillapalle, Managing Director of Renault India, stated, “Passing on the full GST 2.0 benefit is a reflection of our unwavering commitment to our customers. We believe this timely initiative will not only make our cars more accessible but also energize demand during the festive season. It’s a step forward in our mission to deliver innovation, value, and trust to every Indian household.”

Renault Kiger:
The Kiger compact SUV benefits from the steepest price reductions, with cuts going as high as Rs. 96,395 on certain variants. The base Authentic MT now costs Rs. 5.76 lakh, while the top-of-the-range Emotion CVT 1.0L Turbo is priced at Rs. 10.33 lakh. Overall, the Kiger range has seen reductions between Rs. 53,695 and Rs. 96,395.

Renault Triber:
The Triber has also received a substantial price correction, with the range now starting at Rs. 5.76 lakh for the base Authentic variant. Reductions across the Triber lineup range from Rs. 53,695 to Rs. 80,195. The top-end Emotion AMT DT now costs Rs. 8.59 lakh.

Renault Kwid:
The Kwid now starts at Rs. 4.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Depending on the variant, prices are reduced by Rs. 40,095 to Rs. 55,095. For instance, the RXT and RXL trims now cost Rs. 4.99 lakh and Rs. 4.66 lakh respectively, while the top-spec Climber AMT DT is available at Rs. 5.90 lakh after a reduction of Rs. 54,995.
