The Government of India has reduced GST on two-wheelers up to 350cc from 28% to 18%. Bajaj Auto has confirmed that it will fully pass on this benefit to customers. This means many Bajaj bikes, especially the commuter range like Platina and CT series, will become cheaper from September 22, 2025.
At the same time, bikes above 350cc will now fall under the 40% GST slab, which makes them more expensive. So while affordable commuter and mid-segment bikes will see price cuts, bigger bikes like Dominar 400 and Pulsar NS400Z will cost more.

Buyer Advantage:
- If you’re looking at commuter bikes like Platina or CT, this is the right time — they will become more affordable after September 22.
- Popular mid-range models like the Pulsar series (125, 150, 160, 200, 250) and the Dominar 250 will also see meaningful price cuts.
- Buyers of bigger bikes (above 350cc) should plan carefully — prices of Pulsar NS400Z and Dominar 400 will go up with the higher GST slab.
Most of Bajaj’s sales come from the commuter segment under 350cc, which means lakhs of buyers will directly benefit. The cut will make two-wheelers more affordable in small towns, rural areas, and among daily commuters. With the festive season coming, Bajaj expects demand to rise sharply. On the other hand, the increase in GST for bigger bikes may slow demand in the premium market, but the overall impact is expected to be very positive for Bajaj Auto and the two-wheeler industry.
