2026 Mahindra XUV700 Facelift Spotted Testing | Price, Launch & Features

2026 Mahindra XUV700 Facelift Spotted Testing – Full Details as below:

The upcoming 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift has been spotted testing on Indian roads, and car enthusiasts are excited about the changes it brings. The XUV700 has been one of Mahindra’s most popular SUVs, offering a premium design, advanced features, and powerful engine options. With strong competition from Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus, Mahindra is preparing to refresh its flagship SUV to keep it ahead in the market.

The exterior of the 2026 XUV700 facelift shows several updates. Spy images reveal a new, sharper grille design with vertical slats, giving the SUV a bolder stance. The headlamps are redesigned with dual-pod LED projectors, and Mahindra may introduce a full-width LED DRL light bar connecting the lamps. The bumper looks sportier with a revised air dam and skid plate, while the alloy wheels are expected to get fresh designs. At the rear, the SUV may feature connected LED taillamps for a more modern appeal, along with a slightly updated bumper design. Overall, the facelift aims to make the SUV look more premium without losing its strong road presence.

Inside, the biggest change is likely to be the introduction of a triple-screen layout. This setup may include a digital instrument cluster, a large infotainment screen, and an additional screen for the front passenger, similar to what Mahindra previewed in its upcoming EVs. Along with this, the new model is expected to offer a more powerful infotainment processor, possibly a Snapdragon unit with higher RAM and storage, ensuring a smoother user experience. Comfort features such as ventilated seats, wireless phone charging, a premium audio system, and captain seat options in the second row may also be added. Mahindra is also working on enhancing safety and ADAS features, with improvements to lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and collision warning systems.

Mechanically, the XUV700 facelift will continue with the same reliable engines: a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel. Both units will be offered with manual and automatic transmission options, and the all-wheel-drive system is expected to remain available in top diesel trims. While the powertrain remains the same, Mahindra may fine-tune the performance for better efficiency and smoother driving. Hybrid technology could also play a role in some variants, depending on market demand and emission norms in 2026.

The launch of the new Mahindra XUV700 facelift is expected around early 2026, possibly by January. Pricing will likely be in the range of ₹15 lakh to ₹26 lakh (ex-showroom), slightly higher than the current model due to the added features and refreshed design. With this update, Mahindra aims to strengthen its position in the premium SUV market and continue its rivalry with other 7-seater SUVs in India.

In summary, the 2026 Mahindra XUV700 facelift brings a sharper design, advanced features, and a more high-tech cabin. While the engines remain the same, the focus is clearly on improving user experience and keeping the SUV modern and competitive. If you are planning to buy a premium 7-seater in 2026, the updated XUV700 will surely be one of the most attractive options on the market.
