Bajaj Auto, one of India’s leading two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturers, has reported its August 2025 sales figures, showing a mixed performance. While the company witnessed a sharp rise in exports, its domestic two-wheeler sales faced a slowdown.
According to the company’s regulatory filings, Bajaj Auto sold 417,616 units in August 2025, registering a 5% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 397,804 units in August 2024.

Detailed Segment-Wise Performance
1. Two-Wheeler Sales
- Total two-wheeler sales stood at 341,887 units, growing 2% YoY.
- Domestic two-wheeler sales declined sharply by 12%, dropping to 184,109 units due to sluggish demand in urban and rural markets.
- Exports of two-wheelers rose significantly by 25% to 157,778 units, led by strong performance in Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
2. Commercial Vehicle Sales
- Bajaj Auto’s commercial vehicle (three-wheeler) segment recorded 75,729 units in August 2025, showing an impressive 21% YoY growth.
- Domestic CV sales increased by 7%, reaching 48,289 units, supported by improved demand for passenger and cargo carriers.
- CV exports surged by 58%, touching 27,440 units, mainly due to growing demand in overseas markets.
