S1 Scooters From ₹49,999: Ola’s Celebrates India Festive Offers Announced
Ola Electric, India’s leading EV manufacturer, has rolled out a special festive campaign called “Ola Celebrates India”, bringing massive discounts and attractive pricing on its range of electric two-wheelers. Under this initiative, the company is offering the Ola S1 scooters and the newly introduced Roadster X motorcycles at prices starting as low as ₹49,999. This limited-period campaign is aimed at boosting EV adoption across the country and making electric mobility more accessible to Indian consumers ahead of the festive season.
The highlight of the campaign is Ola’s aggressive pricing for its popular S1 series of scooters. The entry-level Ola S1X+ is now being offered from just ₹49,999, making it the most affordable electric scooter in the company’s lineup. Other variants in the S1 family, including the S1 Air and S1 Pro, are also being sold at special festive prices with additional discounts and exchange benefits. Ola has managed to position the S1 scooters as feature-rich yet cost-effective options, offering top speeds of over 90 kmph, impressive ranges of up to 195 km on a single charge (depending on the variant), and modern features like a 7-inch touchscreen display, MoveOS software updates, hill-hold assist, and multiple riding modes.
Alongside scooters, Ola has also extended the campaign to its motorcycle segment with the newly launched Roadster X series. This lineup celebrates Ola’s milestone of becoming India’s first EV-only manufacturer to achieve a one million production mark. The Roadster X motorcycles are designed to appeal to young, urban riders who want the thrill of performance along with sustainable mobility. With prices starting under ₹1 lakh during the campaign, the Roadster X range offers aggressive styling, LED lighting, digital instrumentation, and powerful motors capable of delivering high torque and quick acceleration. Ola is also working on expanding its motorcycle range in the coming years, with more models under development to strengthen its position in India’s growing EV two-wheeler market.
The “Ola Celebrates India” campaign is not just about reduced prices; it also includes several finance schemes and subscription plans to make ownership easier. Customers can avail low down payments, zero-cost EMI options, and easy exchange benefits to switch from petrol-powered two-wheelers to Ola’s electric models. Ola has further sweetened the deal by offering free accessories, extended warranties, and special festive colors for select models. With these benefits, the company aims to attract a wide base of customers who might have been hesitant about transitioning to electric vehicles due to higher upfront costs.
Another key factor driving the campaign is Ola’s rapidly expanding charging network across India. The brand has already set up thousands of hyperchargers and fast-charging points across metro cities, towns, and highways, ensuring that range anxiety becomes less of a concern for EV buyers. Additionally, with the government offering subsidies and incentives for EV adoption under FAME-II and state-level policies, Ola is positioning its products as highly economical alternatives to petrol two-wheelers in terms of long-term running costs.
From a design and technology standpoint, Ola scooters and motorcycles stand out in their segments. The scooters feature minimalist yet futuristic styling, with large under-seat storage, keyless operation, app-based controls, and smart connectivity features. The Roadster X motorcycles, on the other hand, are positioned as stylish commuters with a blend of practicality and performance. Both product lines are powered by Ola’s MoveOS platform, which enables features like navigation, music playback, predictive maintenance alerts, and OTA (over-the-air) updates for continuously improving performance.
Pricing is undoubtedly the biggest talking point under this campaign. With entry-level Ola S1 scooters priced at just ₹49,999, the brand has managed to bring down EV costs to a level that directly challenges petrol scooters like Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter. The Roadster X, starting under ₹1 lakh, offers an affordable electric motorcycle option compared to conventional 150cc and 160cc petrol bikes. This aggressive strategy reflects Ola’s ambition to dominate India’s EV two-wheeler market by volume as well as value.
