Currently, Skoda offers four models in India — Kylaq, Kushaq, Slavia, and Kodiaq.

Skoda Slavia:

The Slavia sedan comes with limited-period pricing that includes GST savings of up to ₹63,000. Additionally, buyers can avail extra discounts of up to ₹1.20 lakh, resulting in total benefits worth ₹1.83 lakh on purchases made before September 21. The Skoda Slavia is priced between ₹10.49 lakh and ₹18.33 lakh and is offered with two petrol engine options along with two transmission choices.

Skoda Kushaq

The Kushaq SUV is available with pre-GST 2.0 benefits of up to ₹66,000, along with additional discounts of up to ₹2.50 lakh. This means customers can save up to ₹3.16 lakh if they book the Kushaq before September 21. Priced between ₹10.99 lakh and ₹19.09 lakh, the Kushaq shares its petrol engines and gearbox options with the Slavia.

Skoda Kodiaq:

For the flagship Kodiaq SUV, Skoda is offering a substantial ₹3.30 lakh GST benefit combined with additional savings of up to ₹2.50 lakh. This adds up to a massive ₹5.80 lakh total benefit for buyers who make their purchase before September 21. The Kodiaq is currently priced between ₹46.89 lakh and ₹49.24 lakh and comes equipped with a 2.0L petrol engine paired with an automatic transmission.

Skoda Kylaq:

Interestingly, Skoda’s entry-level compact SUV, the Kylaq, is not included in these offers. However, its prices are expected to drop slightly once GST 2.0 comes into effect from September 22. The Kylaq has been Skoda’s best-selling model recently, recording sales of over 5,000 units in March and April 2025.

The Kylaq is powered by a 1.0L TSI petrol engine with a manual gearbox, available in four trims:

  • Classic – ₹8.25 lakh
  • Signature – ₹9.85 lakh
  • Signature+ – ₹11.30 lakh
  • Prestige – ₹12.94 lakh

Automatic variants are offered in Signature, Signature+, and Prestige grades, priced at ₹10.95 lakh, ₹12.40 lakh, and ₹13.99 lakh, respectively. (All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.)

Impact of GST 2.0:

Under the new GST 2.0 rules, small cars and SUVs under 4 metres in length, with petrol engines up to 1.2L and diesel engines up to 1.5L, now fall under the 18% tax bracket — significantly lower than the earlier 29% for petrol and 31% for diesel.

The maximum GST rate has also been capped at 40%, compared to the previous 48% for premium SUVs, making vehicles more affordable overall.
